South American, and Mediterranean Food around the Embarcadero

An assortment of delicious flavors around the Embarcadero:

They are all tough to get a spot, but well situated for and early check-in and walk nearby while waiting. Of course earlier is better, but at the Barrel Room - I can perhaps pull some strings!

Kokkari is probably my favorite restaurant in San Francisco. Any chance I get to take corporate clients there, it's my first choice. Amazing menu with many gluten free options, and awesome staff! Greek/Mediterranean focused.

Sens is a spot I've wanted to go forever, but haven't made it. Also mediterranean focused, and posted as having gluten free options. Lovely location in Embarcadero 4!

Quite an array of menu options!

Believe it or not, when I refer to Lamar as "Mister Ocean" I always think of this peruvian restaurant on the embarcadero. La Mar Cevicherria! They have an amazing menu, with a TON of very fresh and crisp fare that leaves you feeling light and healthy. quite a treat, and another one I like to use when corporate visitors come knocking! Lovely setting on the water front!

Of course The Barrel Room comes in to play. They will accomodate extensive food preparation requests, and assist us with getting a table and always a small gift or two. They just switched to a new South American menu - It's broken and I messaged the Chef about it - but I can get a picture if requested! I know we enjoyed our last meal there a lot, and I enjoyed your fancy red shoes :)

Of course with a lovely location like this, there are compelling options for dessert, a nice stroll, and all the zany fun of the Embarcadero street market. A stroll this weekend?
